University of Wisconsin, In Vivo Mycotoxin

While this reported mycotoxin challenge work was completed using broiler chickens, researchers reporting on research for other animals have reported similar responses for other field performance areas. Accordingly, this mycotoxin challenge work is referenced as thoughts for potential future scientific study.

Study director, Mark Cook, Ph.D., completed this University of Wisconsin study by adding high levels of various mycotoxins to the starter rations. Sand at 0.5% was added to the control diet and AZOMITE® at 0.5% was added to the test diet. The test was terminated after 21 days.
