Pelleting Conditioning and Pellet Quality
The following study was completed at a 5 ton batch mill adding micronized AZOMITE® at 1% of the total feed mix.
Currently a coarse feed ingredient product – AZOMITE® Feed-Grit has been used by customers and major feed mill throughput results have been reported by customers using Feed-Grit. In addition, customers adding 0.25% to 0.5% Feed-Grit and removing some fat from their feed rations (spraying the fat on post-pellet) have reported excellent feed mill throughput while significantly improving pellet quality.
